Depart the U.S. on your overnight flight to Venice.
 
Day 2
ARRIVE VENICE - EMBARK MS MONET
You will be met at the airport and accompanied to San Basilio Pier. Store your luggage there and enjoy Venice on your own. Embark at 4:00 PM for the Welcome Reception and Dinner aboard. D
 
Day 3
VENICE CITY TOUR - DOGE'S PALACE
Visit the Doge’s Palace and see the Byzantine-style Basilica of San Marco and other Venice landmarks. This afternoon choose the sites you’d most like to visit on your own. The Monet departs at 6:00 PM for Rovinj, Croatia. B/L/D
 
Day 4
ROVINJ, CROATIA
Tour sunny, picturesque Rovinj with its Baroque Town Hall, Romanesque Baptistry and many other cultural sites. Return to the ship and enjoy Cross-Culture’s Unforgettable Experiences Reception and dinner as you cruise toward Sibenik. B/L/D
 
Day 5
SIBENIK, CROATIA
Stroll along Sibenik’s narrow medieval streets lined with palaces, churches, shops and cafés. Pre-eminent among the churches is the 15th-century St. James Cathedral,* which fuses Gothic and Renaissance styles. Relax on board this afternoon as the Monet cruises toward Split. B/L/D
 
Day 6
SPLIT, CROATIA: IVAN MESTROV IC MUSEUM · PALACE OF DIOCLETIAN
See the work of sculptor Ivan Mestrovic in the villa where he lived. Continue to Split’s historic center* to tour the remarkable palace of Diocletian, a compound of over 200 buildings. At 5:00 PM, cruise out around the shimmering Dalmatian Islands. B/L/D
 
Day 7
DUBROVNIK, CROATIA - THE WALLED OLD CITY
Cruise into walled medieval Dubrovnik. Explore the Old City* with your guide, visiting 16th-century Sponza Palace, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. This afternoon, explore the views, galleries and shops. Return to the Monet for dinner or try one of the city’s fine restaurants. B/L/D
 
Day 8
DUBROVNIK - GULF OF KOTOR - KOTOR, MONTENEGRO
Cruise through the Gulf of Kotor, a fjord surrounded by towering mountains that leads to the walled city of Kotor. Stroll with your guide past the town’s fine medieval houses, palaces and churches. Tonight the Monet continues south toward Vlora, Albania.  B/L/D
 
Day 9
VLORA, ALBANIA · ANCIENT APOLLONIA
Vlora is the gateway to the archaeological site of Apollonia, founded by the Greeks, invaded by Romans and “discovered” by 19th-century archaeologists. Visit Apollonia and tour Viora; then  cruise overnight to the Greek island of Kefalonia.  B/L/D
 
Day 10
ARGOSTOLI · KEFALONIA, GREECE
During your day on Kefalonia, discover the Koryalenios History and Folklore Museum, the Archaeological Museum with its Mycenean artifacts, and “swallow holes” where the ocean disappears into an underground lake. At 6:00 PM cruise eastward into the Gulf of Corinth. B/L/D
 
Day 11
DELPHI, GREECE
Travel to Delphi,* location of the famous Oracle and perhaps the most beautiful ancient site in Greece. Follow the Sacred Way to the Temple of Apollo. Tour the great Delphi Museum, whose holdings include the Bronze Charioteer. This afternoon, cruise toward Athens.  B/L/D
 
Day 12
ATHENS, GREECE: ACROPOLIS & PARTHENON · PLAKA
Enjoy a morning tour of the Acropolis and the majestic Parthenon, as well as the Hill of the Arepagus and the Agora, the ancient market. In the afternoon visit the Plaka, reminiscent of an Arab bazaar. Return to the Monet for your festive Farewell Dinner. B/L/D

RETURN TO U.S.
Disembark after breakfast for the airport and your flight home. B
