Here, you’ll go on a guied walk through the delightful marketplace and see the renaissance-era Town Hall and taste some of the famed Moselle wines! Sail through the dramatic Rhine Gorge, considered the most beautiful view of the Rhine River, and see ancient castles standing majestically on cliffs 400 feet above the water.

Day 8 Cochem: guided tour, visit Reichsburg Castle

Day 9 Boppard—Rhine Gorge—Rüdesheim: morning jog in Boppard; scenic cruise through the Rhine Gorge; special treat; choice of visit Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, or cable car ride to the Niederwald Monument in Rüdesheim, or guided hike through the vineyards with your Adventure Host, and enjoy the view with a cable car ride back down

Day 10 Ludwigshafen. Excursion to Heidelberg: guided tour of Heidelberg Castle, see the Great Vat, or hike up Philosophers’ Way

Day 11 Strasbourg: guided tour, visit La Petite France district and the gothic cathedral

Day 12 Breisach: choice of excursion to Black Forest, or visit to Badische Winzerkeller

Day 13 Basel (Disembarkation): your cruise ends this morning
