Amazon River Cruise
The second-longest river in the world after the Nile (though some estimates have the two reversed), the Amazon River runs mostly through Brazil and Peru, forms part of the border between Colombia and Perú, and has 17 major and hundreds of minor tributaries reaching into Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Bolivia. River cruises generally explore the Amazon River near its source, where many of the tributaries converge, while ocean cruises may follow the river from its delta to Manaus, the Amazon’s largest and most populous city.
