Day 1 - Stockholm

Arrive in Stockholm and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax or begin exploring the city on your own. Perhaps take a leisurely walk to the Royal Palace and Stockholm Cathedral. A Viking Host is available to help you plan your time in Stockholm so you can make the most of your visit.

Day 2 - Stockholm

After breakfast at your hotel, you will have a full day of leisure to explore Stockholm on your own. Alternatively, you may choose to join one of a range of optional excursions which offer opportunities to discover the city’s local flavors, historic districts and array of museums. (B)

Day 3 - Stockholm

On your final day, you will transfer by motor coach to your ship to begin your cruise. (B)

For four days, tour fascinating Iceland—from the sights of the capital city, Reykjavík, to the hot springs and waterfalls of Thingvellir National Park and the famed Blue Lagoon, a natural geothermal spa.

Day 1 - Reykjavík

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by a Viking Representative before making the short transfer to your hotel. After check-in, you will have a chance to rest and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Your Viking Tour Director is available to help you plan your time in Iceland so you can make the most of your visit.

Day 2 - Reykjavík

Enter the surreal lava landscape of the Reykjanes Peninsula, where you will come upon the Blue Lagoon, a natural geothermal spa. Enjoy a dip in these warm waters before returning to Reykjavík. You will also have an opportunity to embark on a guided tour of Reykjavík. See its famous landmarks, including the steel and mirrored-glass dome of the Perlan (“The Pearl”), the imposing Hallgrímskirkja church and the Höfði House, site of the 1986 summit between the US and the Soviets. Day 3 - Iceland & the Golden Circle

Embark on a scenic drive to beautiful Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area is surrounded by mountains and encompasses a vast lava plain of green moss and wildflowers. Continue to the Geysir hot springs area, where hissing springs and other geothermal phenomena will surround you. After lunch, drive to the Gullfoss waterfall, then visit Kerid Crater, one of the more dramatic craters dotting Iceland’s landscape. Return to Reykjavík for an evening at leisure. (B, L)

Day 4 - Stockholm

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to your embarkation city and ship. (B)

Day 2 - Stockholm

After breakfast, descend into the subway to discover the world’s longest art exhibition. As you navigate between stations, admire the colorful artwork that brightens residents’ daily commute, then return to the street and continue to Östermalmshallen for a taste of local favorites. Later, embark on a sightseeing cruise on the Baltic Sea. This evening, you may choose to partake in an optional excursion, savoring a delicious meal at the rooftop restaurant Tak. (B, L)

Day 3 - Stockholm

Set out early for a guided tour of Stockholm’s storied City Hall, looking behind its magnificent facades for a glimpse at its unique interior artworks. This afternoon, you may choose to partake in an optional panoramic bike ride around Djurgården Island. This evening, enjoy a hands-on course on how to make traditional Swedish meatballs from scratch, followed by dinner and drinks. (B, D)

This morning, check out of your hotel and transfer to your ship to begin your cruise. (B)

Experience the serene charm of the Gothenburg Archipelago, an array of small islands situated off Sweden’s west coast. During your three-night stay, discover quaint fishing villages and sandy beaches, call at Sweden’s most famous lighthouse and visit Marstrand, renowned for its natural splendor.

Day 1 – Gothenburg

Fly to Gothenburg, where you will meet your Viking representative and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, you will have the remainder of the day at your leisure; perhaps venture into the heart of the city to glimpse a vintage tram traversing the lines or take a stroll through the charming Haga district. Day 2 – Gothenburg

After breakfast, climb aboard a RIB and set out to discover Pater Noster, Sweden’s most famous lighthouse. Nestled on the tiny island of Hamneskär, it was constructed in the mid-19th century to protect seafarers approaching the hazardous waters around the island. Enjoy a guided tour of this famous structure and learn about its storied history, followed by time on your own to explore the island further. After a lunch of local fare, return to your hotel for an evening at leisure. (B, L)

Day 3 – Gothenburg

This morning, transfer to the island of Marstrand, home to a 17th-century fortress and military stronghold. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of the fortress, followed by a walk through the town center. After, you will have free time to explore, perhaps taking a stroll along a nature trail or visiting a local restaurant for lunch. Later, return to your hotel, or you may choose to join an optional excursion to try your hand at fishing in the Swedish archipelago. (B)

Day 4 – Gothenburg

Following breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer by train to your awaiting ship to begin your cruise. (B)

Discover Kiruna in the unspoiled heart of Swedish Lapland, south of the Arctic Circle where the summer sun rarely sets. Experience Sweden's northernmost city, the gateway to Abisko National Park, and uncover the enduring legacy of the Indigenous Sami and their deep ties to the Arctic landscape.

Day 1 - Kiruna

Upon arrival in Kiruna, you will be greeted by a Viking representative who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel for check-in. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax and enjoy the hotel’s amenities, or venture into the city to explore on your own. A Viking Host will be available throughout your stay to help you make the most of your time in Kiruna.

Day 2 - Kiruna

After breakfast, set out to discover Sweden’s northernmost city. Visit notable landmarks including the wooden-framed Kiruna Church and city hall, featuring architecture inspired by the city’s mining history. Immerse yourself in Sami culture during a visit to the Márkanbáiki Sámi open air museum, where you will enjoy a traditional lunch and meet reindeer herders. Later, you may choose to join an optional excursion to visit the LKAB Mine or to dine by the Torne River under the midnight sun. (B, L)

Day 3 – Kiruna

Today, nature awaits at Abisko National Park. After an Arctic train ride, journey by motor coach to the park. Upon arrival, enjoy a lunch of local fare, then embark on a boat trip on the serene Torneträsk Lake. Continue into the heart of the park, taking in the views of the surrounding mountains, forests and valleys, and call at the visitor center to learn more about the flora and fauna here. Cap your day with a short hike to Abisko Canyon. This evening, dine at your leisure. (B, L)

Day 4 – Kiruna

This morning, enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Then, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Stockholm, where you will join your awaiting ship and begin your cruise. (B)
