Day 1 - Amsterdam

Depart your ship and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy a leisurely exploration of Amsterdam. During a canal cruise, admire iconic gabled houses, pass charming houseboats and see the wooden drawbridge known as “Skinny Bridge.” Sail past Amsterdam’s modern developments, including the old port areas that have been converted to residential districts. Stroll through the Jordaan district to view some of Amsterdam’s most notable sights and stop to taste a typical Dutch delicacy.

Day 2 - Amsterdam

Enjoy breakfast and a full day at leisure, or join an optional excursion: set out on a guided walk through the city followed by a trip to the Van Gogh Museum, visit the Zuiderzee Museum or call at Hortus Botanicus, one of the world’s oldest botanical gardens. You may also venture into the countryside on an e-bike or learn about Amsterdam’s Golden Age during a walking tour and cruise. Day 1 - Bruges

Depart your ship and transfer to Bruges. Check in to your hotel, then enjoy a walking tour of the historic city center. Stroll past homes of prominent former residents and visit the 13th-century Béguinage and its gardens; once home to a community of laywomen, the complex now houses a nunnery for Benedictine sisters. View the Church of Our Lady and see the Gruuthuse palace and gardens, once the medieval home of one of the wealthiest families in Bruges.

Day 2 - Bruges

Enjoy a day at leisure to discover the hidden gems that Bruges has to offer, such as the Groeninge Museum or St. John’s Hospital with its splendid collection of religious art. Like her ocean-class siblings, Viking Astrea will feature a sleek, modern design that prioritizes light, open spaces and a seamless connection to the sea. Every stateroom aboard will offer a private veranda—ensuring each guest has uninterrupted ocean views and a quiet retreat. Interiors will showcase the understated elegance that Viking is known for: clean lines, warm woods, soft textiles, and curated artwork that evoke a sense of calm sophistication.

Accommodations aboard Viking Astrea will be thoughtfully arranged across multiple categories, from spacious Veranda Staterooms to expansive Explorer Suites and the indulgent Owner’s Suite.
