As part of our onboard cultural enrichment program and commitment to destination-focused learning, our Viking Resident Historian faculty provides guests with lectures and roundtable discussions on the arts, architecture, music and culture of upcoming ports and various aspects of world history.

Arrive in Toronto and meet your Viking Representative, who will transfer you to your hotel. Upon arrival, check in and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure. This evening, you may choose to dine at your hotel or venture out into the city. A Viking Host is available to help you plan your time in Toronto so you can make the most of your visit.

After breakfast, explore Toronto’s main sights, from the leafy avenues of Queen’s Park to the colorful corners of Chinatown and vibrant downtown. Then, visit the Royal Ontario Museum, home to a world-class collection of art and cultural treasures. This afternoon, see the city at your own pace or join an optional excursion to Kensington Market and a local art gallery. This evening, dine at your leisure. Alternatively, you may join fellow guests for a tour of Casa Loma and a steakhouse dinner. (B)

Following breakfast, drive to the Grange of Prince Edward County winery, one of Ontario’s leading wine producers. Enjoy a tour of its estate and tasting, followed by a three-course lunch paired with wine. Continue to Kingston for a panoramic tour of the city’s highlights, including the historic downtown district, Queen’s University Campus and Kingston Mills. Check in to your hotel, then spend the afternoon exploring the city at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your leisure. (B, L)

After a hearty breakfast, check out of your hotel and embark on a scenic cruise through Ontario’s Thousand Islands. Enjoy lunch onboard before returning to shore to begin your journey to Ottawa. After breakfast, join your guide and explore Ottawa’s sights, including the Parliament building, pausing to sample a butter tart—one of Canada’s emblematic desserts. You will also enjoy a guided tour of the Canadian Museum of History, followed by free time for lunch. After, rejoin your motor coach and transfer to Montreal, where you will embark your ship. (B)
