Arrive in Oslo and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax or begin your discovery of Oslo, renowned as the site of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. Take a walk through Vigeland Park, named for the sculptor whose stone and bronze works adorn this expansive green space. After breakfast, join your guide for a tour of Oslo. Board the Bergen Railway for your journey to Bergen, often described as the most beautiful train ride in the world. Your ascension to over 4,000 feet above sea level as you cross the Hardangervidda plateau features breathtaking views and will be accompanied by an informative narration. Contrast the Bergen of old with the elegant modern-day city on an enlightening tour, highlighted by insights from your local guide.
