Itinerary highlights
Along the River Seine to the coast of Normandy and back features art and daily life in Paris, stops in historic, small villages and towns, and a memorable visit to the beaches of Normandy. Unique experiences include a Tauck Exclusive evening at Château du Taillis, a palatial private residence in Normandy, where guests will enjoy a reception, dinner, music, and a tour of the château's small museum of World War II artifacts; and a private early-opening guided visit to the home and gardens of the painter Claude Monet at Giverny, where he painted many masterpieces, followed by free time to explore the nearby Impressionist Museum as you please; and in Paris, a choice of museum visit. A new 125m riverboat in Tauck's Destination Fleet, MS Reverie debuts in 2027 with a deck plan optimized for the utmost in spaciousness – with 85% of her cabins measuring 230 square feet or larger – and accommodating no more than 124 guests. Guest amenities inside her 20 Tauck Suites at roughly 300 square feet include luxurious bathrooms with separate showers and walk-in closets. She also sports 30 cabins around 225 square feet, and 12 around 180 square feet. Two decks have floor-to-ceiling windows with real French balconies that open onto a balcony in the fresh air and idyllic riverscapes; all have in-room minibar, adjustable heating and cooling, private bathroom and shower with pampering toiletries.
