London
London, one of the world's top destinations, is a city begging to be explored. Steeped in history, the well-known sites of Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Trafalgar Square beckon, or get a modern perspective from the top of the London Eye. This cosmopolitan city offers all the world cuisines you’re used to, but there are still places to find traditional British fare like bangers and mash or shepherds’ pie.
Bruges
This popular beach resort draws thousands of Belgians and British daytrippers for its sun, sailing, surfing, and casino. As a busy ferry port for more than 150 years, Oostende also provides quick access to Bruges and Ghent, two of Belgium’s most attractive destinations.
Harlingen
This historic harbor town has a long history of fishing and shipping, and is filled with old canals, well-preserved merchants’ houses, and 17<sup>th</sup> century warehouses. Wander through town to the 18<sup>th</sup> century City Hall and wait for the next hour or half hour when the carillon will chime its pretty melody, or enjoy a pleasurable scavenger hunt as you search for gable stones. These carved and often painted stone tablets were set into the walls of buildings in olden times to help people navigate the streets before the advent of house numbers. Many give you clues to the building’s former purpose.
Amsterdam
Amsterdam, the Venice of the North, where more than 1,500 bridges arch gracefully over scenic canals. The stately 17<sup>th</sup> century homes of Dutch merchants line the canals and museums are everywhere, filled with masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age. Most of the sightseeing essentials are conveniently collected in the Canal Ring, the central area of the city which is designated as a UNESCO site. Here you’ll find the Anne Frank House, the Royal Palace, the Red Light District, and most of the museums. Mind all the bicycles!

As part of Windstar’s $250 million Star Plus Initiative, Star Pride underwent a transformative renovation in 2021. The ship was lengthened by 84 feet, resulting in expanded public areas, new culinary venues, and additional suites. Upgrades also included new eco-friendly engines and enhanced environmental systems, positioning the vessel at the forefront of sustainable luxury travel. Though refreshed and modernized, Star Pride retains the intimate, yachting spirit that defines the Windstar experience.
All 156 suites on board are ocean-facing, offering spacious layouts ranging from 277 to over 800 square feet. Designed with a blend of contemporary elegance and classic comfort, each suite features plush bedding, walk-in closets, marble-accented bathrooms with dual vanities, and thoughtful amenities such as Illy espresso machines and L’Occitane bath products. Many suites include private verandas or French balconies, creating a seamless connection to the sea and surrounding landscapes.
Dining on Star Pride is elevated, globally inspired, and entirely complimentary. Amphora, the ship’s main dining room, offers ever-changing menus rooted in fresh, seasonal ingredients. Candles transforms the deck into a romantic open-air steakhouse by night, while Cuadro 44 by chef Anthony Sasso offers bold, modern Spanish cuisine in an intimate, tapas-style setting. Star Grill by Steven Raichlen serves barbecue with international flair in a casual al fresco setting, and the Yacht Club Café is a favorite for fresh pastries, coffee, and light bites throughout the day. In-suite dining is available 24 hours a day for added flexibility.
