Silver Muse, launched in 2017, marked a bold evolution in Silversea’s luxury cruise experience. With accommodations for 596 guests, the ship redefined ultra-luxury travel with a fresh vision that emphasizes space, choice, and personal attention. Silver Muse introduced more dining options than any other ship in the Silversea fleet, an abundance of public areas, and larger suites across all categories.
A highlight of Silver Muse is its extraordinary culinary diversity. Guests can choose from eight distinct restaurants, each offering a unique dining experience. Atlantide serves fine seafood and steaks; Indochine presents a bold blend of Asian flavors; La Dame showcases elegant French cuisine; and Kaiseki delights with Japanese delicacies. La Terrazza features regional Italian cuisine, while The Grill offers casual, al fresco dining. Silver Note blends jazz with tapas-style dining, and Spaccanapoli serves authentic Neapolitan-style pizza.
Silver Muse’s accommodations are all-suite and ocean-facing, offering a blend of classic elegance and modern design. Each suite features a private veranda (except for a few Vista Suites), marble-clad bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, and butler service. Spacious and serene, these suites are thoughtfully appointed with premium linens, fine furnishings, and advanced in-suite technology. Larger suites, such as the Owner’s, Grand, and Royal Suites, offer expansive living areas ideal for entertaining or long voyages.
The ship’s public spaces are sophisticated yet inviting. Guests can enjoy curated art collections, sip a cocktail in the Panorama Lounge, or retreat to the Observation Library for panoramic views. The Venetian Lounge hosts lectures, performances, and film screenings, while the Connoisseur’s Corner caters to cigar and cognac aficionados. The Zagara Spa and fitness center ensure that wellness and rejuvenation are always at hand.
Silver Muse travels across multiple continents and offers a rich tapestry of itineraries including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Its combination of spacious design, culinary excellence, and Silversea’s signature personalized service makes it a standout choice for travelers seeking an immersive and luxurious escape.
Dining
Silver Muse gives its 632 guests a broad choice of included, open-seating tables. Italian arrives at La Terrazza, French at La Dame, and Japanese at Kaiseki, with Neapolitan pizza at Spaccanapoli. Atlantide, S.A.L.T. Kitchen, Silver Note, The Grill, and Arts Cafe complete the lineup.

Good to know
Standard Wi-Fi is free and unlimited in every suite, one device at a time, and handles browsing, messaging, and email. Premium Wi-Fi, which supports streaming and video calls, costs extra but is complimentary in the upper suite categories and for full World Cruise guests.
Days are relaxed, comparable to five-star resort wear. From 6:00 p.m. evenings are Elegant Casual, with Formal Optional nights that scale with voyage length: none on sailings of 7 days or fewer, one or two on 8 to 14 days, two or more on longer voyages. Jackets are always optional and formal wear is never required. Expedition ships stay Elegant Casual throughout.
Shipboard gratuities are included in the fare, with spa services the one exception, so there is no working out who to tip on board. Tips for shore-excursion guides are not included; a common guideline is about $2.50 per guest on a half-day tour and $5 on a full day.
Select wines, champagnes, spirits, beer, and soft drinks are included in bars, restaurants, and your suite, and the butler keeps the minibar stocked to your preferences. A short list of premium labels, cigarettes, and cigars costs extra. Silver Origin does not carry champagne or caviar.
Every suite in every category comes with butler service, backed by a crew-to-guest ratio close to one to one. Butlers unpack your bags, serve in-suite breakfast, restock the minibar daily, and arrange laundry. In-suite dining runs around the clock.
Special diets are accommodated on request. Tell us when you book so the details reach Silversea at least 75 days before sailing. Guests with allergies can also arrange hypoallergenic detergent for their bedding in advance.
Most ships carry dedicated wheelchair-accessible suites, though Silver Origin has none, and public areas include accessible restrooms and Braille signage in the elevators. Mobility needs must be flagged before sailing, and guests who use a wheelchair throughout the cruise bring their own collapsible chair. We handle the arrangements with Silversea when you book.
Suites, balconies, and most public areas are nonsmoking. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and cigars, is permitted in the Connoisseur's Corner, plus a few designated outdoor spots that vary by ship.
A self-service launderette with machines, irons, and supplies is free on every ship except Silver Origin. Valet laundry and pressing are available for a fee through your butler, and come complimentary in the higher suite categories.
Silversea is an adult-oriented line: there are no children's programs, childcare, or babysitting on board. Infants under 6 months cannot sail, and the expedition ships, including Silver Endeavour, Silver Cloud, Silver Origin, and Silver Wind, do not take children under 5.
