Arrive in New York, where you will meet your Viking host at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Then, you may spend time relaxing or set out to acquaint yourself with the city. Perhaps you will take in the elegance of Grand Central Station, the vibrant energy of Times Square or the green oasis of Central Park. This evening, you may choose to join an optional excursion to see the lights of the city from the Empire State Building’s top deck.

Enjoy another day to explore New York at your own pace, perhaps joining an optional excursion to visit the Museum of Modern Art before its doors open to the public. Try a slice of New York cheesecake or a real New York–style pizza. Board an elevator to the top of the Empire State Building or Rockefeller Center to marvel at magnificent views of all five boroughs and the bustling harbor. Alternatively, head to Central Park to visit the famous zoo. (B)

On your final day, bid farewell to New York City and transfer directly by motor coach to your ship. Alternatively, you may choose to cap your visit with an optional excursion to explore the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, or call at Chinatown and Little Italy, before heading to your ship to begin your cruise. Disembark your ship and set out with your fellow guests for a guided city tour, where you will discover more about Toronto and its history. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch and then continue toward Gravenhurst, the “Gateway to Muskoka.” Upon arrival in Muskoka, check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner with your fellow guests. (L, D)

After breakfast, immerse yourself in nature as you experience the scenic beauty of Ontario’s lakes up close with a boat ride on Lake Rousseau. Visit Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery, a family-owned cranberry farm and award-winning vineyard. After lunch, you will have a guided tour of the farm and a tasting of a variety of wines, from dry varietals to dessert wines. This evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel. (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will have time to relax at your leisure. Enjoy lunch at your hotel before setting out for Toronto. Along the way, you will participate in a guided visit of Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons, Ontario’s first European community. Upon arrival in Toronto, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring as you wish. In the evening, perhaps head to one of Toronto’s many eateries to sample some of the local cuisine. (B, L)

This morning, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)
