This morning, take a scenic drive through Toronto, passing iconic landmarks such as the CN Tower, as well as the Entertainment District, Chinatown, Queen’s Park, the Ontario Legislative Building and more. Leave the commotion of the city behind as you head to the Killarney Mountain Lodge. Stop for photos at Penetanguishene, the “Gateway to Georgian Bay,” and lunch en route. After a welcome reception and check-in, savor a delicious dinner at the lodge’s restaurant. (B, L, D)

After breakfast, admire the windswept pines and clear waters of Georgian Bay during an invigorating hike. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch, then participate in a painting workshop, bringing the stunning landscapes of your surroundings to life. Later this afternoon, you may relax at the lodge or participate in an included activity; choose to go swimming, kayaking or relax in the sauna. This evening, join your fellow guests for a delicious dinner. (B, L, D)

After breakfast you may choose to join fellow guests for a stretching class at the lodge. Afterward, check out and journey to Midland to explore the recreated village, Sainte-Marie among the Hurons. Learn the story of the Jesuit missionaries and their mission to create a community among the native tribes of Huronia. Depending on the weather, you will enjoy lunch at the lodge or at a picnic. Later this afternoon, continue to Toronto and board your awaiting ship to begin your cruise. (B, L)

This morning, arrive at the renowned Art Gallery of Ontario, home to Canada’s greatest art collection. The museum’s highlight is the work created by the renowned Group of Seven, an early 20th-century national art movement pioneered by several Canadian painters who were inspired by the Great Lakes region’s beautiful landscapes. Following your guided tour, enjoy free time to further explore this mesmerizing art. Afterward, the remainder of the day and evening are yours to spend at leisure. (B)

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and embark on a scenic tour featuring such highlights as the iconic Toronto City Hall, the lakefront, the Financial District with its gleaming skyscrapers and Ontario’s Legislative Building. Discover trendsetting neighborhoods and Canada’s ethnic heritage in Chinatown, Greektown and Little Italy. Conclude the tour at your ship, where you will board and begin your cruise. (B)
